Are They Hatching Yet?

Mrs. Renken's Kindergartners carefully tend the chicken eggs in the incubator as they learn about the growth and development of the baby chicks. Will they hatch in 21 days? Check back for an update!

when they are old enough
to see what is inside.
We can see the veins
of the chick embryo.

We turn the eggs
the first thing
in the morning
to keep them warm
all around...

It has been 21 days
and we are beginning
to see some cracks
in the egg shells.
