Tie on those walking/running shoes! The AllStars are getting together for the third year to participate in the Komen Nebraska Race for the Cure for breast cancer. The date this year is Sunday, October 5, and we’ll be out there in honor of Aldrich Elementary staff survivor Marilyn Scahill and in honor and memory of family and friends. This 1 mile walk or 5K run/walk is an opportunity to support a healthy lifestyle and a great cause at the same time. Registration fees are $5 less as a team member: $20 for non-timed run/walk, $25 for 5K timed (chip) run for adults, and $10 and $15 respectively for children 3-12 years. Breast cancer survivors and children 2 years and under must register but may race for free. Note: teams do not need to participate as a group, just register together.
