Mr. Koehly teaches kindergarten at Black Elk. He attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha. This is his sixth year at Black Elk. Mr. Koehly is originally from Chilichothe, Missouri.

Mr. Koehly enjoys spending time with his three children Noah, Emma, and Mariah. His hobbies include participation in all types of athletics, fishing, and reading.
