The book The World According to Humphrey is about a hamster that has lived in Pet-O-Roma all his life, and is taken to a classroom to be observed by kids. The person who took Humphrey home is named Ms. Mac. Ms. Mac is a substitute for Mrs. Brisbane, who is mean. All of a sudden Ms. Mac has to leave and Mrs. Brisbane doesn’t like “rodents”.  What will happen to Humphrey? Read the book to find out.

The World According to Humphrey
By Betty G. Birney

The World According to Humphrey is one of the greatest books that I have read. The book is about a little hamster that lives in a classroom. Every weekend Humphrey goes home with a student, so that he is not alone during the weekend. When he is over there he helps the child and even sometimes the parents. I loved the book and I know you will too. Read the book to find out more.

The World According to Humphrey

By Betty G. Birney

Humphrey is a small, lovable hamster in a city pet shop called Pet-O-Rama. A substitute teacher by the name of Ms. Mac buys the hamster and takes him to school as a class pet. She names him Humphrey. Humphrey figures he has a good life in room 26, until the real teacher, Mrs. Brisbane returns to school. Many things change with the return of Mrs. Brisbane. Read the book to find out what happens.

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO HUMPHREY

BY

BETTY G. BIRNEY

This book is very interesting to read. This book is about a class hamster named Humphrey, in room 26. He has learned how to read and write. Then his owner, Mrs. Mac, leaves to travel the world and leaves Humphrey with a cruel teacher, Mrs. Brisbane. I would love to tell you more but I would spoil the book for you.
