King Arthur King Arthur was a legendary king of England during the Middle Ages. He was a good person because he was a just and kind king and gathered the noblest knights to his castle named Camelot in Southern England. Arthur lived as a king of England. King Arthur was famous for pulling the sword Excalibur from a stone to prove that he was king. He also was famous for gathering the Knights of the Round Table. King Arthur lived with his knights and his wife, Lady Guinevere. We don't know what King Arthur looked like and we don't know how he died or if he ever lived but legends say that he was killed by his relative, Modred, or may have sailed to a mysterious island called Avalon at the end of his life.
