The following research databases are available to Central Middle School Students at school and in their homes.  Since these are available only to subscribers, a user name and password is needed to access them outside of our school building.  Students should see Ms. Umstead or Mrs. Ammerman in the Information Center to obtain login information for home use. 

Galegroup  - Use for general reference research, full-text magazine articles, biographical information, literary criticism, and health topics.

WorldBook Online - Complete encyclopedic reference containing every article from the 22-volume print set plus thousands more.

Culture Grams - a wealth of information, maps, flags, statistics from 182 countries and all 50 states.

Rand McNally Classroom - helpful tools for any geographical topic.

ProQuest  - Search professional magazines and periodicals related to all aspects of education and education-related issues
