Hi! My name is Bethany Rowlee. This will be my second year here at Hitchcock. Last year, I taught 2nd grade, and this year I am teaching 1st grade. Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in O'Neill, Nebraska. After high school, I went to Wayne State College where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences-Biology. I then went on to Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha where I received my degree in Respiratory Therapy. I worked as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner at a local hospital for 5 years. During that time I realized my heart was truly in teaching and decided to go back for my Bachelor’s degree in Education. I graduated in the spring of 2006 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and then went on to receive my Master’s degree in Elementary Education this past fall. I am married to my husband, Steven, who is a nurse at a local hospital. In my spare time I like to travel, cheer on the Huskers, and spend time with family and friends. I am looking forward to another great school year here at Hitchcock!
