Hello from Second Grade!   My name is Gay Lynn Baker.   I am one of the second grade teachers here at Hitchcock.  

    I have been teaching second graders for over 20 years, most of those years at Hitchcock.   It must be because I love this school!!  

   I graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln back when it was thought of as the only Nebraska University.  

  I am married to a wonderful man whose name is almost the same as mine, Gaylen.   Between us we have 4 children, 3 daughters and one son and 3 grandchildren.  

  I love to play golf with friends and hubby, work on my house (I'm a paint fanatic, just ask my husband) and read, read, read!

  I am looking forward to another great year at Hitchcock.   We are the best-kept secret in the Millard District!
