General Information

The Human Resources Department of Millard Public Schools recognizes the important role our staff plays in fulfilling the district's mission. It is our goal to recruit, induct, and retain the highest quality staff available.

In an effort to supply administrators with a pool of candidates, we solicit and screen all applications submitted. We use two types of applications. One application is designed for all certificated staff. Another application is designed for our non-certified staff. The positions include, but are not limited to, paraeducators, secretaries, cooks, custodians, maintenance, and other professional technical positions.

If you are interested in joining a dynamic school district and wish to make a contribution to the growth of our students, we invite you to apply. We accept applications year-round and maintain a database of applicants for all of our positions. We also conduct screening interviews for teachers and paraeducators. We provide the files of qualified candidates to our building principals and supervisors. They conduct interviews and make recommendations for hiring to us.

We advertise our positions through this website and through CareerLink. Our open position list is updated each Wednesday. By checking the job postings section of HR, you can scan positions available now. If you find a position listed and are interested in applying you can make inquiries specific for a position by selecting the position and responding to the "apply now" button. In addition to our regular positions, we also accept applications for individuals who wish to serve as substitutes. We have need for substitute teachers, substitute paraeducators, substitute cooks, and substitute custodial. We also have limited need for substitute secretarial.

Teachers can apply online by selecting a specific job and working through the online process to complete the application. Applicants for any position can also pick up an application at the Don Stroh Administration Center, 5606 S. 147th, Omaha, NE. 68137. You can also write for an application at this address or call our district receptionist at 402-895-8200.

If you have questions about any of our positions or the selection process, feel free to contact us. We look forward to meeting you.
