Rita is a twelve year old girl who is growing up in Lodz, Poland
with her Jewish family. As the year passes, things slowly go wrong
for the Jews. First, it's the yellow star of David that they are
compelled to wear on their coats. Then, they are made to go into a
ghetto. Lastly, Rita is pulled apart from her family when they are
crowded into the German concentration camps (AKA death camps). Rita
must find a way to live, and never give up hope.
Out of five stars, five being highest, I would give this a ****and a half.
