If you want to read a book on who to hand out with or who not to after moving to a new town and school, pick this book.

I thought it was really scary how some humans can treat each other. It really showed the true human nature at its worst. I t showed what life can be like for some teenagers. It was good to see the characters standing up for what everyone knew was right and doing what everyone else was afraid to do.


Mackler, Carolyn Vegan Virgin Valentine
Mara's niece, who is only one-year-younger, moves in bringing conflict between the two teenagers because of their opposite personalities.

This book was really great to read. I usually don't read much but this book got me hooked. It's so easy to relate to. The characters seem like I've known them for a long time. I recommend this book.

Maguire, Gregory Leaping Beauty
Collection of eight animal tales. In the title story a cursed tadpole becomes, successively, Weeping Beauty, Sleeping Beauty, and finally, Leaping Beauty. Most tales involve slightly skewed but satisfying endings.

I really enjoyed this book because it is kinda like my life. I love having a book with music parts in it. I love the band name The Hormones and how everyone knows her because of her trademark flower in her hair.

I have read several "Journals" of Lewis and Clark's travels. This book is the best one I have read so far. I would recommend this book to all people interested in Lewis and Clark.

it was an emotionally attaching story about a strong-willed girl who keeps fighting hard through her terrible life even when whe thinks she's worthless and has given up. It made me appreciate my life and circumstances.

I thought a lot of the information was repeated throughout the different interviews. Overall I thought there could have been an extra twist or something to the plot, something unexpected to keep you reading.

I've read better written books. It was very repetitive and kept coming back to the same things. Toward the end it got better, but it seems like some critical details were left out that would have made the book more captivating. It's a very easy read and doesn't seem like much effort was put into it.
