This book was okay. It definitely got better towards the ending, but it was rather boring in my opinion. This was a good book. It showed the true story of the most valient men out there. But it was unique because the marshall was African American and he is not a known hero like Buffalo Bill Cody, Wyatt Earp, and Wild Bill Hickok. This was an interesting story about a free slave. - MNHS |

I thought that this book was amazing! If you need information - this is perfect. It makes the history of Native American tribes easy to understand. It also encompasses a full history and it does a good job of providing extensive information the easy way. One thing - if you learn the Native American names from other books - this one uses English names so it can be kind of confusing. - CMS |

Being an avid Terry Pratchett fan, I found Wintersmith to be below my standards for him. The humor was less sophisticated, likely because it was a Young Adult book.
