The Millard Public Schools is committed to protecting the privacy and
security of the users of its website. Our privacy statement is your
assurance that we will protect our websites user's information and will
fully comply with relevant state and federal law, including the Family
Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Children's Internet
Privacy Act (CIPA), and the Children's Online Privacy and Protection
Act (COPPA).
For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically
recognizes and captures the consumer's Internet Protocol (IP) address,
the type of browser being used, and the Operating System (platform) of
the consumer's computer. This information is collected in the
aggregate. The system does not automatically collect e-mail addresses.
In addition, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or
visit, user-specific information on what pages consumer's access or
visit, and information volunteered by the consumer, such as e-mail
addresses from inquiries are collected.
The information we collect is
used for internal review, used to improve the content of our website,
used to better understand the technical needs of our users, and to
improve website functionality. The information is
not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
Should the Millard Public Schools find it necessary to materially
change this policy, prominent notice will be provided all users.
