This is a great opportunity to be eligible to earn prize money and receive priority consideration for the Marie Curie Scholarships. All students who present a science project at this event will be given priority consideration for six scholarships ranging from $18,000 to $22,400 per year based on academic achievement and financial need. BIG $$$$ FROM METRO
Metropolitan Community College is offering the Board of Governors Scholarship to area seniors. To be eligible you must be a resident of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy or Washington County, have a 2.5+ GPA or be in the top 33% of your class and be involved in extracurricular activities. They are also offering the Presidential Scholarship. To be eligible you must reside in the counties listed above and have a 3.25 + GPA or be in the top 10% of your class. Applications are in the rack. Return the application to your counselor. Deadline: March 7, 2008.

CALLING ALL THEATER ARTS MAJORS
The Theater Arts Guild, Inc. will be awarding two$1,000 scholarships to area students interested in pursuing theater arts. You must be planning to pursue at least a minor in theater arts (acting, dance, voice, direction, design, broadcasting, theater management, technical design, etc.) and be a member of TAG. Applications are in the rack. Deadline: March 5, 2008.
