The Peter Kiewit Foundation Legacy Scholarships are here. The foundation is offering a newer award that is combining the Memorial and the Distinguished valued up to more than $7,500 per year. Who is eligible? You must rank in the top 20% of your class, show financial need and attend a four-year public or private college or university in Nebraska. This is a LARGE application, so don’t delay in picking one up. They are available from Mrs. Harrach in the Counseling Center. Deadline: January 9, 2008.

FULL TUITION COULD BE YOURS!!!
The Nebraska State College Board of Trustees Scholarship is now available. This award is valued at $13,200 when renewed over four years. It is offered to those planning to attend Chadron State, Peru State or Wayne State College. To be eligible you must have a 25+ on the ACT or 1130+ on the SAT, enroll as a full-time college student and provide one written recommendation letter from a high school teacher or administrator. You can find the application in the rack or online at www.nscs.edu. Deadline: January 15, 2008.

Attention Senior Girls!!

Young Women’s Leadership Conference

This will be held on November 15th at the Westside Community Center from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm.

Cost is $20.00 which includes breakfast and lunch. Stop by the Counseling Center for a registration form. Forms are due November 9th .
