Welcome to
Millard South's

Online Counseling Center!

We hope students and parents will find this site helpful in accessing the latest in college and career information. Of course, all students are encouraged to visit their counselor for personalized college and career counseling as well as for personal/social counseling as needed. This site was created to augment the counseling students can obtain at Millard South.

At the top left of the main page are links to local MSHS information. The Weekly Guidance News (WGN) is published each Friday and given to each senior in Pride Time as well as published here online. The WGN is a great way for seniors to stay on top of college and scholarship information. Application deadlines for area colleges, scholarship deadlines, scholarship application availability, and ACT registration deadlines are just a few of the items listed in the WGN each week. See the electronic subscription section of the WGN to have it emailed to you each week. The Junior Guidance News includes information that pertains to college bound juniors and is published each quarter. Junior parents can also sign up for an electronic subscription of the Junior Newsletter. The Scholarship Quicklinks provides access to some online scholarship applications as well as links to many of the area college financial aid offices.

On the right side of the main counseling center page are links to our College Planning Center, Career Corner, Scholarships & Financial aid, and Testing & Study Skills pages. Included are college search programs, links to all college and university home pages, scholarship search programs, the FAFSA online and lots of career and study skills information.

There is an enormous amount of college and career information on the web and hopefully our site will save students and parents some time in finding good information. We welcome your suggestions regarding any good links that are not included on this site.

For more information please stop by the counseling office and see your counselor. You can email your counselor from the "MSHS Counseling Staff" link.
