Color guard is the auxiliary unit of the marching band. Auditions for Color Guard are held in late April. Any student with dance experience is encouraged to try out for the color guard. The guard performs at all home football games and in four to five marching contests. Color Guard is considered to be a part of the band, thus students receive academic credit and grades for participation in this activity.
