Grand Island was 3rd with 52 points, in 2nd was Central with 63 points and winning was Lincoln Southwest with 67 points. Even though we placed 4th in Class A we ended up becoming Grand Champions, simple put Millrd South Girls Track Team is the best in State. We earned 45 points beating out Central with 42 points and Lincoln Southwest with 41.
There were so many highlights with personal records being made, school records being broken, and top 10 all time in the state of Nebraska being accomplished.
4x100 Leslie Felici, Morgan Woitzel, Katie Dinning, Clara Nichols placed 2nd in a school record time of 48.27. This time also placed them 3rd all time in Nbraska's history. Omaha North had to run the fastest time in history to beat us. They took down Omaha Central's record from 1988.
