Welcome to the John G. Neihardt Elementary School website! Neihardt Elementary was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 1998-99. We are proud of this great accomplishment and it is our commitment to continue to maintain this level of excellence. As dedicated educators, the Neihardt faculty and staff work to advocate for all children in an effort to ensure their success every day. Our greatest source of pride comes from the success and accomplishments of our students! The mission of Neihardt Elementary School in partnership with students, parents, staff and community is to guarantee that all students will maximize their academic achievement and develop the life skills necessary for personal success and responsible citizenship in a global society by providing diverse and world class learning opportunities that challenge each student to develop a quest for knowledge and to continue to strive for success. We would like to thank all of our parents, the community, and our PAYBAC Partners for their support and dedication to our school. We could not be such a successful school without the partnerships that we share. We encourage you to become involved in our school. It is a great way to emphasize the importance of education to children, develop a strong partnership between the home and the school, and gain a better understanding of what students are learning and experiencing at school. Neihardt Elementary provides many avenues for involvement. Feel free to contact the school for additional information on how you can become involved.
