2.  Read the beginning article: "Common Elements in Creation Myths"
     Notice the highlighted parts of the article.

3.  Go to this web site:  The Big Myth

4.  Watch the introduction, then choose the Creation Myths for these cultures.  Listen for the elements described in the article you read.

5.  Fill out the 1st chart on your worksheet.

6.  Choose and read 3 Creation Myths found among those listed on these web sites.  Watch, as you read, for the elements of creation myths you read about previously.

Read myths, fables, legends, or folk tales from the web pages listed below. 

Choose one to report on in class.  Make a poster with details to help you with your presentation. 

Look at this See a sample poster so you know what is expected to be on your poster.

If you have extra time... War of the Worlds: Fact or Fiction??

1.  Find, print, and read an article telling about the 1938 broadcast of H.G. Wells' "War of the Worlds."

2.  Read the news articles that appeared after the broadcast.  What was the public reaction?

4.  Read the entire transcript (words) of the play as written for the 1938 broadcast.
