IMPORTANT REMINDER regarding CELL PHONES, IPODS, and any other ELECTRONIC equipment:
Students have been advised that any such items need to be OFF and in their LOCKERS during the school day. Occasionally, teachers will allow students to listen to music during Guided Study. Cell phones are never appropriate to have on their person during the school day. If confiscated, they will be held in the office until the end of the day. If confiscated a second time, a parent must pick up the cell phone.
Cell phones are very disruptive to the learning environment in school. They need be 'off' and in the locker during the school day. We appreciate your support in helping RMS continue as a learning community. |

Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets® are concrete, common sense, positive experiences and qualities essential to raising successful young people. These assets have the power during critical adolescent years to influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults.
Russell students will be discussing these developmental assets during their Packtimes. Encourage your child to talk to you about them, too. For more information, click here.
