Days 1 - 3:   Background Reading
Keep your handouts in your folder.
1 - Neuroscience for Kids - use the handout and check off each link that you explore. There are several pages to the handout, as you can see.  Try to explore as much of this website as you can...it's really loaded with information!
 
2 - The Hows, What's and Who's of Neuroscience (white handout) - this is actually the information from the first link "Explore the Nervous System" on the Neuroscience for Kids page
 

3 - Brain Facts (pink handout)

 
4 - Decision-making.... (yellow handout)
 
5 - Brain Hieroglyphics (blue handout)
 
6 - Book Choice - locate a text source of information on the brain, nervous system, etc.  Take 10 notes of information from the book on notebook paper.  Keep this in your folder.
 
Days 4 - 8:
Days 4 and 5: In Mrs. Brodeur's office, choose an article on the brain.    Read it and use the Extra Credit form to take notes on the articles
Day 6: Begin a brief study of Multiple Intelligences using the materials from Mrs. Brodeur.
Day 7: Lab in the classroom
Day 8: Continue study of Multiple Intelligences.
Day 9 - 12: Choose topic of study from Mrs. Schwab / Mr. Leuschen.  Research and be ready to present on Friday.  No iMovies this time.
