The Star Spangled Banner
Oh, say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave? |

The Preamble
Hey, do you know about the U.S.A.?
Do you know about the government?
Can you tell me ‘bout the Constitution?
Hey, learn about the U.S.A.!
In seventeen eighty-seven, I’m told,
Our founding fathers did agree
To write a list of principles
For keeping people free.
The U.S.A. was just starting out,
A whole brand new country.
And so our people spelled it out,
The things that we should be.
We the people
In order to form a more perfect union,
Establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility,
Provide for the common defense,
Promote the general welfare,
And secure the blessings of liberty
To ourselves and our posterity,
Do ordain and establish
This Constitution for the
United States of America.
For the United States of America. |

Patriotic Song of the Month - May
There Are Many Flags In Many Lands
There are many flags In many lands,
There are flags of every hue;
But there is no flag, H-however grand, Like our own Red, White and Blue.
Then hurrah for the flag, Our country's flag,
Its stripes and white stars, too; For there is no flag in any land,
Like our own Red, White and Blue.

America
My country, 'tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty, Of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the Pilgrim's pride, From every mountainside
Let freedom ring.
Patriotic Song of the Month - Mar
This Land is Your Land
This land is your land, this land is my land,
from California to the New York Island,
from the red-wood forest to the Gulf Stream waters;
This land was made for you and me.
As I was walking that ribbon of highway,
I saw above me that endless skyway I saw below me that golden valley,
This land was made for you and me.
This land is your land, this land is my land,
from California to the New York Island,
from the red-wood forest
to the Gulf Stream waters;
This land was made for you and me.

Fifty nifty United States from thirteen original colonies, Shout them, scout them, and tell all about them,
One by one till we've given a day to every state in the U.S.A.
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut,
Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana,
Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan
Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, NEBRASKA, Nevada,
New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio,
Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
North, south, east, west, in our calm, objective opinion,
NEBRASKA is the best of the
Fifty nifty United States from thirteen original colonies, Shout them, scout them, tell all about them,
One by one till we've given a day to every state in the U.S.A.

I Love My Country
I love my country. I love my freedom.
I love my flag and Independence Day.
I am a citizen. I have equality.
I love my country, the U.S.A. I love my country, the U.S.A.
U.S.A!
Patriotic Song of the Month - Dec
You're a Grand Old Flag
You're a grand old flag You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of the land I love, The home of the free and the brave.
Every heart beats true under red, white and blue
Where there's never a boast or brag.
But should auld acquaintance be forgot, Keep your eye on the grand old flag.
Patriotic Song of the Month - Nov
Yankee Doodle
Father and I went down to camp Along with Captain Gooding,
And there we saw the men and boys As thick as hasty pudding.
Yankee Doodle keep it up, Yankee Doodle dandy,
Mind the music and the step, And with the girls be handy.
Yankee Doodle went to town, A riding on a pony,
He stuck a feather in his cap| And called it macaroni.
Yankee Doodle keep it up, Yankee Doodle dandy,
Mind the music and the step, And with the girls be handy.

America the Beautiful
Oh, beautiful, for spacious skies, For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountains majesties, Above the fruited plain.
America, America! God shed his grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood, From sea to shining sea.
