Book Box Literacy Activity with Parents
AlphaTales and NumberTales Take Home Books - Sent Home on Friday
*Read with child frequently
*Color illustrations
*
Highlight (or trace) all of the specific letter or number of emphasis in the book with a yellow marker
*
Child can copy words and draw pictures to make his/her own letter page or alphabet book
Library Books
*Sent home every Thursday in library book bag
*Return to school every Wednesday in library book bag
*Preschoolers are only allowed to check out one book each week
*Books must be returned before a new book can be checked out
*Parents must pay for lost or damaged books
