Destination Imagination

Destination Imagination has really blossomed this year. We had one team last year, but it looks like we will have 2 or 3 teams this year. Destination Imagination is a community-based, school-friendly program that builds participants' creativity, problem solving, and teamwork in enjoyable and meaningful ways. Teams of five to seven members work together to apply creativity, critical thinking and their particular talents to solve a Team Challenge.

We did an excellent job last year. We placed at the regional level and went onto the state competition in Kearney, NE.

We are anxious to get started this year and are in the process of forming our teams. This competition is open to students in grades 3, 4 and 5.

Our competition dates are as follows:

Regional Tournament will be held on March 8, 2008 at the Papillion LaVista High School.
State competititon will be held on April 5, 2008 at Kearney Nebraska.
Global Finals will take place the week of May 21 - 24 in Knoxville, TN
