Mission Statement
To provide opportunities for parents, teachers, and the community
to work together to enhance the health, education, and welfare
of our children that attend Wheeler Elementary.
Goals
- To encourage and facilitate greater involvement in the decisions
and activities of the PT A by the general membership, by challenging
the parents to attend the school at least two times a year (besides
conferences) to show their support to the school and their children.
- To creatively provide financial support to identified educational
needs at Wheeler, which improve our children's learning environment.
- To inform the membership of association, local, state and
national events and programs impacting education and learning
at Wheeler.
- To promote an ongoing identification of safety and wellness
issues at Wheeler to reduce potential risks to our children.
To continue existing programs and introduce new programs to support
education and encourage learning at Wheeler through family involvement
and participation. Achieving this through involving each family
through social events, communicating the activities and issues
through a monthly newsletter, and giving each family the opportunity
to become involved at the school at many different levels we have
to offer.
Support the PTA by becoming a member!!! Applications are
available in the Wheeler school office
