Our Birthday Book Club consists of students and teachers who have contributed $10 towards the purchase of a new book for Wheeler's Media Center. Members choose a book from our special Birthday Book Club collection which we then stamp with their names and dates of purchase. We add their names to our Birthday Book Club display, take photographs of our members with their selected books, and present them with a special bookmark and a birthday treat. The selected book is brought home to share with the member's family prior to its placement in our collection for circulation.

The Birthday Book Club is a voluntary program. Its continued success is due to the pride that Wheeler parents and students take in our school and it expresses our shared love of reading. We appreciate the contributions our Book Club has made to our media center and encourage everyone in our school to join.
