As I scampered into the halls after a wet and rainy morning at safety patrol, I was tired. I was very happy that it was Friday and it was so close to Easter. As I walk into the classroom, the second bell rang. Then when we got done with the two pledges, I saw we had a three page spelling work sheet on our desk. Not many people got done before we went into math.
Speaking of math, we did something we usually don't do. We used the dry erase boards. We did problems with subtracting fractions. In between problems, we drew until the other people were done. It was fun. When we finished with the dry erase boards, we did a math box. This math box took longer, because there was no SRB pages. In addition to this math assignment, we also had two blue work sheets on top of everything else. The work sheets helped us work on subtracting fractions. Lucky for me, I got everything done. I feel sorry for the people that didn't get spelling or math done; they'll have a lot of homework tonight.
Strangely after math but before gym, we had our weekly spelling test that consists of 10 words at your level. It isn't the most exciting thing to do but it's okay.
After we got done with our spelling tests, we lingered into a long line. We were eager students raring to go to the always-exciting gym class. In gym, we did Easter relays. It was fun because we don't usually play this game.
As we trotted back into the warm classroom as fast and silent as humming bird’s wings, we were all wondering what we would do next. This day was so crazy already. But then Ms. Everts popped the answer, we were going to go into Social Studies. Ms. Everts said we were going to take notes. I thought what the heck, a few notes are not going to kill me. Boy, was I wrong. She continued to put up page after page. By the end of notes, I was mad and my hand hurt. It was like the American Evolution, which we were learning about in Social Studies. The reason it was like the American Revolution was because the British government just kept pushing the Colonists until the Colonists had enough. After we took notes, we had to answer review questions. Social Studies came and went as fast as snowmelts in Miami.
Swoosh, we shot for our books. You can probably guess what came next, SQUIRT! Everyone munched on their delicious snacks and read their marvelous books. We finally got interrupted and kicked back into the human world by Ms. Everts telling us to put our books away
Next thing out of the ordinary, Brennon shared his impressive roving reporter. Just as he finished Mrs. Anderson walked into the classroom to talk to us about some good books to read.
Finally, the only study hall we got was while the actors warmed up for their play. The bad thing was that I had nothing to do, so I read. When the actors were ready, we began. The people in the play were Megan, Michael, Katie, Nishant, Casey, Tyler, and Charles. They did a great job. The play was a Greek myth about a king and a knight. Oh no, we are late for lunch so we took a short break. THERE WILL BE INSIDE RECESS said the lady on the announcements. So after we ate, it was like a herd of elephants trotting down the halls. As everyone entered the classroom, people were playing all different things. But all good things must come to an end; we put our games away and sadly finish recess. Later, we finished the play. For the amount of time they had to put it together, it was great. After the play, we did very handy thing- assignment notebooks. Without these books, some people (me) would be unorganized.
Next, another thing we don't usually do is we gathered in the gym for the middle school concert. Three different groups played for us. First, the strings played three very short folk songs. They made it so some people wanted to get up and start stomping their feet. Next was the chorus, they sang interesting songs. I didn't think they would sing songs that I didn't even know. Last, the band students played two songs. I liked and recognized both. The first was a song from "Top Gun" and the second was a great band piece. Over the years, it has started to become the middle schools theme song.
As we scurried out of the gym after the band concert ended, we made it just in time for Junior Achievement or at least we thought. Our teacher (Trevor’s dad) was running late. But when he got to our classroom, we learned about the risks and rewards of running our owning your own business. It was fun except I was the secretary.
When we finally rapped things up, we had to hurry to get out the door on time. As I left the classroom, I couldn't wait to get home and see what adventures the weekend held. As I ran out the doors of the school, it was really rainy but it was okay.
Brrr we all said as we walked into school. It was a rainy and cold Thursday. It was nice to see everyone in bright Hawaiian clothes. Right when we walked into class we had to sit at our desks and to do a morning sheet on 'Lions'. We had to read the story and than answer questions. Math followed with pages 258, 259, 260. Page 260 was a math box. As the paper passers handed out the study link, we all worked on our math pages. I think the math assignments were easy.
Finally, it was time for Music. Today it was very fun because we got to experiment with music on the computer. It was called garage band and we got to compose our own music. It was very cool to me. I made up a great mixed song.
Back in class we got to work in our Editing book. The title was 'Up and Running.' We only had a few minutes to work on it because we were getting short on time.
After that we went into our interesting books. I am reading 'Qwerty Stevens Back in Time.' I think it is really cool.
Next we went into Reading. We had to get into groups and read a story. My group read ''The Best Candidate.''
My favorite part of the day was next. It was lunch. Even though we didn't go outside, I still had fun inside.
After lunch we went into teacher read. That is when the teacher reads of course. As she reads, we get to do any homework that we had to do.
Right after that we went into social studies. We had to take an enormous amount of notes in our notebooks. But we all got through it.
Bzzzzz, we all knew what that was. It meant that school was over. We all gave Miss Everts either a high 5 or a hug as we walked out the door.
Today everyone was excited about mish-mash day. Everyone didn't match. However, it was nice outside. Everyone looked so goofy it was great.
When we got inside we had to do Show You Know. It was 5 definitions and 5sentenses. It was pretty hard. If you don't know what I’m talking about here's an example. Let’s pretend to fight. Pretend was our spelling word and we had to use it in a sentence. Still everyone was exited about mish-mash day.
Then it was on to unit studies we had to write down notes on the French and Indian War. Then read some pages in our unit studies book then answer some questions. I think learning about the Revolutionary War will be fun.
Today we also had reading we watched an Africa movie. It was boring but it had lots of information though. We had to write five facts we didn't know.
Then there was math we did a workbook page here is an example 1half plus 1half = 1whole.We also did a blue sheet with fractions too. All that was easy though.
We also had to edit our Africa reports it was boring. It was ok but boring. I still had fun.
Then it was lunch it was delicious. Then it was time to go outside it was beautiful the weather was so nice. Finally it was time to go in side and pack up some people finished up some work then the bell ring time to go.
As we walked into room we saw a TFK quiz on our desk. A TFK is a quiz we take after a TFK magazine, here is example Article: Ouch! How many American children under the age of 15 are treated for sport related injuries? A: 30 million, B: 3.5 million, C: 15 million, or D: 285,000. Well, I got B: 3.5 million. I'm pretty sure it's right. I don't know about you but I thought the TFK was pretty easy.
Next, was none other than the unpredictable math. In math we went to the computer lab, there we did a program called Larson's math for 45 minutes. Larson’s math is a program where you go through tons of massive levels of the unit you select. We worked on fractions. When we went back to our classroom we had a common denominator sheet.
After math we went to gym. In gym we played a game called people on mars. In that game two people stand in the center of the gym and everyone else stands on one side of the gym. Then the game commenced, the people in the middle call something someone’s wearing, like the color red, then everyone wearing red runs to the other side and if you get tagged you go to the middle.
Next we had to read at our squirt time. I’m reading Children of the Lamp. It's a book when two children discover they're djinns.
Then we went into our palms where we continued to work on our Africa reports. My country happens to be Kenya. It’s an awesome country.
Later we hopped into recess and lunch where we had a blast (by the way lunch was a hotdog) when we came back we found ourselves a surprise we had to do a survey for a teacher’s daughter in our school. I think she was trying to figure out if were right or left brained. Then we had teacher read, for teacher read were reading a book called the 6th grade Nickname Game. It’s about two kids who make up nicknames for everyone.
Lastly we did social studies. In social studies we studied the American Revolution. The chapter was about the American Revolution and about how the British make the 13 colonies demented.
Then we had a 15-minute study hall. It wasn’t the best, but at least everyone got something done. Then we said good-bye and left for home wondering what we'll do tomorrow.
As I saw everyone walk into the classroom with sad faces because it was the end of the spring break and no more messing around. It was time to get back down to business at school.
Get out your math journals Ms. Everts said as everyone knew it was time for math. In math today we checked our math test from the week before spring break. We also had an assignment. The pages that we did were pages 251, 252, 253 the math box. We also did a page with comparing fractions a problem was 3/5 is less than 4/5.
Then came music. In music today we sang a song that goes like this “Alabama Alaska Arizona”. Ok you got it, it was 50 Nifty United States. Then Mrs. Noble said put away your books it is time to line up it was the end of music.
Next we went right into our spelling pretest. It was a pretty fun week to do spelling because there were some fun words in this weeks spelling. Then I heard Austin it is your turn to golf. As I wet up to the golfing mat and I putted one right in the whole. I got a piece of candy.
Then my favorite part of the day came it was Squirt. I dove off the diving board right into my book as I am reading 6th Grade Secrets, and I ate my super yummy snacks.
Then we got into a good mood by raving again about the books we are reading. In reading we read a book and it was about a girl and a boy that were running for class president. The book was called Off And Running.
After lunch came one of the parts that we don’t do every day, it was the discecting of the cow eyeball. It was the weirdest thing I have ever done. It had all the parts of the eye that we talked about in the unit of sound and light and the ear and the eye. We also revised our Africa research.
Buzzzzzz! As we all heard the bell ring everyone tried to run out right away, but they could not get out before they had given Ms. Everts a high 5 or a then they could get out and go home for the rest of the day.
As I trotted into the classroom I read the chalkboard and found out that we had a spelling sheet. On one side we had to fill out the bubble with the correct spelling. For example which is spelled correctly D-I-S-C-U-R-A-G-E-D or D-I-S-C-O-U-R-E-G-E-D? You guessed it, the answer was number two.
After the half hour that went by like a speeding car, we had math. For math we played the exquisite math review game. What is ten to the ninth power in standard notation? You got it, one billion.
"You've Got a Friend" is a type of song. Yep, you got it. Music is next. During music we choose amazingly awesome tunes for garage band. Unfortunately, we had to go back into the classroom and do some language.
Well, in language we had to get into our language books. We learned about helping verbs. Some of them are am, was, has, and does.
After that we fell in love with our SQUIRT books while eating our scrumptious snacks. Following that we raved about our books. Some of them sounded great. Once again we had to snap out of it and go to lunch. Our choices were breaded pork patty, chef salad, or turkey with gravy. Recess was the best. We had a superfine time playing.
We went from fun to fierce work while we listened to Miss Everts read our new book for teacher read, The Sixth Grade Name Game. We all got a laugh out of it. Luckily, almost all of us finished our quiz.
During our writer’s workshop we had to write the body of our reports on Africa. And that was about it for writer’s workshop.
Unit Studies was extremely fun. We played a sober review game. Do you know what the word is that means to bounce back? Well, the answer is reflect. Did you get that? I did when I answered it in the game.
Then we got an enormous forty-five minute study hall to work on our eye sketchy and our long writing assignment. Almost everyone got something done.
RRRIIINNNNNNGGGGGG goes the bell. People would have thought we were in the "belly of beast" as we all walked out of the room sadly.
Ahhhhh! I felt some breeze from the east as I did safety patrol. When I walked into the classroom, I noticed that we had a spelling sheet to do. Good thing it was a little simple.
Hmmmmmm! I wonder what was next, oh yeah I remember. We had science we already did a sketchy of the ear so we did a sketchy of the eye. I'd say I got a good start.
After that we went into studying our country. Mine was Ghana.
Right before lunch we had art what we had to do was little tiny dots to make up a picture.
The rest of the day was study hall. The end of the day the wind was blowing so hard a rock hit me in the face. What a great ending for the day.
As we came in this morning from the blustery cold, everyone's cheeks were red like roses. We looked up at the board and saw that we had to do a "Time for Kids" questionnaire. One example of a question was "In what year did NASA's first robotic vehicle explore the surface of Mars?" Well, I got the answer 1997.
At 9:00AM it was time for math! First we went to the computer lab and did a fun math program on the computer called Larson’s math! Second we came back to the classroom and corrected our math reviews. One of the questions on the review was "Is 10 to the third power greater or less than negative 3000? You guessed it the answer is greater than!
Next was gym. We played a hard game of hockey and as everyone came back to the classroom, we were all drenched in sweat. What a workout!
After our hard work in gym, we had science. We checked our science reviews so we could use them to study for our test on Friday. After the review sheet, we did another two-page review sheet and got to skip the essay part. Yeah!! One example of a question was "Sound and light reach our ears and eyes as waves or matter?" Yep, you guessed it, the answer is waves.
After science, we finally got to relax and read our amazing and entertaining books. As usual, we were able to eat snacks while we read.
Our next activity was to listen to Nash and Trevor as they shared their wonderful roving reporter stories from Thursday and Friday of last week.
After Trevor and Nash's great reports, we went into reading. On pages 481-483, we read about an author and read two poems. After that, we completed a sheet on a story that we read on Monday. On one question, we had to compare and contrast.
For editing today, we edited five horribly written sentences on a ballerina story.
Finally it was time to enjoy our scrumptious lunches and then head outside for recess. As everyone came in from recess, we had runny noses, red cheeks and cold hands.
Next, we got to vote on a new book for our teacher to read to us, and we all decided on the book "The Sixth Grade Nickname Game". I hope it turns out to be a great story.
After the excitement of voting on a new book, we started our research on our African countries. Today we finished our fact note cards and wrote an outline for our essay.
Next our great librarian came into our classroom and talked to us about biographies and recommended some truly great ones for us to read.
At last, it was almost 3:30PM, and time to fill our assignment notebooks, pack up, and head for home in the blustery cold weather.
I pledge allegiance to the flag.... is what I heard shortly after I walked into the room. After I sat down I continued reading our Time For Kids. That was our morning assignment for today. The front cover story looked interesting, although I hadn't gotten to that article yet.
"Clear off your desk", Miss Everts announced. Math time, already? The last thirty minutes had gone by amazingly fast. To start off in math we took a times test. That is when you see how fast you can remember all your multiplication facts in one minute, and write them down. "Whoever beat their best, come to me. Otherwise, put your times test in your mailboxes", Miss Everts said. When you "beat your best" it means you did better than your best times test. When you do beat you best, you get a sticker. If you get five stickers in a certain amount of time, you get to take part in a pizza party. After the times test we had to do a review sheet. It was on everything we had learned about on positive and negative numbers. "You have until 10:25 to work on this", was what Miss Everts said next. That’s all our work? I thought. I guess Miss Everts let us off easy on homework today.
Do, re, mi. Yep, you guessed it. Music was next. In music we talked about the garage band, and what it is, at least enough to know somewhat we were doing Thursday. We also learned an Irish song.
How do you spell discount? Well you spell it, d-i-s-c-o-u-n-t. Let's hope everyone knew that on the spelling pre-test we took in spelling. Actually the next hour or so was a spelling/SQUIRT/golfing time. After we finished copying our pre-test words, we went into our adventurous, exciting books. I'm reading Zach's lie. It's a great book. Next we had an unusual surprise. Mr. Vincent walked in. He was going to take pictures for winning the January and February reading calendar contests.
After that exciting experience, we pounced into reading. "Turn to page 464, our vocabulary page", Miss Everts said. Some examples of the vocabulary words are: devote, scholarship, and timid. I knew most of them. Our assignment for the day was a long agonizing, 14 pages to read in our Harcourt books. Luckily, most people finished it.
Big, bigger, and biggest is what we studied in our next subject, grammar. We studied when to use what word. We also studied irregular adjectives. An example of some would be, good, better, and best. Just when we thought grammar was over, Miss Everts passed out a worksheet on what we had learned that lesson. It was pretty easy. I finished it before lunch.
Speaking of lunch, that’s what was next on the list. I had a hot dog. Others had the choice of pepperoni pizza, or an American wrap. Yummm! Then, as usual, we had recess.
Light, sound, the ear, and the eye? Correct again. Science was next. First we talked about the ear parts. Someone asked what the most important part of the ear was. The answer can vary is what we figured out. You could argue every part was the most important because they all rely on each other. After, we were finished taking the notes Miss Everts had put on the overhead, we had to read pages 70 and 71. After that was completed, we had a review sheet to work on the rest of science. I didn't get that finished before science was amazingly over.
"Fifth graders will you find a good spot to stop", was what snapped me out of science, and into our study on African countries. We had to work on our note cards about our countries. My country's name is Morocco. Others have countries like Egypt. Personally, I thought it was hard to fill up about 13 note cards on a country that could be so small, as a grain of rice, on a map.
Next, we had study hall. At least some did. Others were busy working on their Africa research.
Finally we did our assignment notebooks, stepped out the door, and took a deep breath, for Tuesday was still to come.
Man was it a beautiful day today. As I came into the classroom and a lot of people were wearing shorts. I was too. When I looked at the chalkboard it said to do your "Show You Know." That is when you take your spelling words and put them into a sentence or definitions. Well, today it was sentences, the easy one. After I finished doing that I read quietly at my desk waiting for math to start.
Math finally came. First we did a challenging number story page in our math journal. Following that we had a "plotting ordered pairs" page that was also in our math journal. And then we had one more page in our math journal, which was a math box. Wow, so far in math we have had a lot of pages to work on. Believe it or not we had a review packet that we had to work on before gym. I got mine done before gym.
Gym was next, that’s my favorite part of the day. In gym we did a game were we had some hockey sticks and little red balls. You had to try to knock the pins down at the other end of the gym. It was pretty fun.
When everybody came out of gym we were exhausted. When we got back to the classroom we took our spelling test because it was Friday. Miss Everts told us that when we were done with our spelling test to go right into "SQUIRT." "SQUIRT” is what we call our time when we sit back and relax, enjoy our delicious snack, and read. When Miss Everts told us to clear off our desk and log into our journal that meant "SQUIRT" was over.
Then we went into science, which was kind of weird because usually we have science after lunch. Well, anyways in science the first thing we did was look over our science sheet we had from about three days ago. When that was done we were going to read in our science books but since some kids had to leave for band we watched a movie and took notes on it. Then by the time we got done with the movie, it was almost time for lunch, but before our growling stomachs could get to the food we had to draw a picture of the eye and the main parts of the eye in our science notebooks. Finally, it was time for lunch. I had a chicken patty sandwich. When we were done eating lunch and got dismissed we could go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.
When we got back inside from the gorgeous weather we continued with science. Like I said we watched the movie because some kids were gone to band. Now the kids were back so we could read. And what do you know Miss Everts let us read the pages with a partner. When we were done reading it was about 1:30 and we had a whole hour to work on our Africa research. Then came 2:30, the time we had to stop. Some kids got their research done and others got close to being done.
Wow, it's been a busy day so far. Don't you think so? Next was reading. In reading we had a packet on the story "Satchmo's Blues." While we were working on that Miss Everts did teacher read. We were reading, "The Kid Who Became President." We were at a very good part so everybody was excited. It got even better because Miss Everts finished the book for us. By the time the book was over we had to do our assignment notebooks, and then pick up 13 scraps off the floor. It's always like a race because after you picked up your scraps off the floor you could line up at the door to be ready to go. Well, the bell rang and finally it was the weekend.
Today was a busy day. Don’t you think so, too?
As Austin and I walked into the classroom from safety patrol, we commented on how fun and warm recess will be. But, before that, we had work to do. I looked at the chalkboard and almost jumped out of my pants because we had an easy spelling worksheet to do. Almost everybody got done with it quickly.
Next was math, my favorite subject, and right now we're working on positive and negative numbers. First we did beat your best, which you have one minute to answer 50 math problems or beat your best score. After that we did a math page that we got to use a calculator on, so it very incredibly easy. The only hard part was that you had to write down exactly what you typed. Then another math page, after that a math box, after that two math worksheets. It was all easy but, a lot to do.
We got to give our brains a break by going to music and playing instruments. It was fun because you got to choose your own beat, when it was your turn.
Yes, finally squirt! We got to dive into our books and eat our scrumchous snacks. When Miss. Everts told us to put our books away I wanted to groan because I was at a really good part.
Next, we got to work on our Africa projects. We read our sources and took notes. Amazingly, I got tons done.
Reading came and we learned about the great trumpeter. You guessed it Louis Armstrong and his career. Then, we had to read a short story and complete a packet.
Finally, it was lunch and everyone gobbled down their spaghetti and ran their hearts out in the warm weather.
We were in the middle of teacher read and were reading The Kid Who Became President when errrtt! The fire alarm went off! Don't worry it was only a drill.
Science was next and we had to do notes, notes and well, more notes. So you can guess we had lots of notes! It paid off though, when we worked on our problems.
After science we did assignment notebooks and left the room both happy and sad. We were happy because we got to dislodge our excitement. But, we were sad to leave the helpful Miss Everts.
We all clamored into our classroom, excited because it was Wednesday! Why was everybody was so exited you may ask? Because Wednesday is a short day! As we sat down we looked at the front of the classroom. There it was! That huge blackboard. On it said, "Editing packet do next page." Oh no, we were all thrilled about that. Not!
Next, we had reading. We got in small groups and read books and met with Miss Everts to discuss facts and opinions. That was fun! Ha!
Then we had unit studies. We read in our science books about light. Then we had watched a quick movie. The movie made many of my classmates tired.
But they weren’t tired for long. Everyone cheered because it was art time! We finished painting our stained glass paintings. The paintings were cool!
Then stomachs began to growl. Everyone was cheering we got ready for lunch. Why was everyone cheering? Well, it is because it was our yummy potluck. Unfortunately, only some people were invited.
After we ate all the delicious foods, we got something special. Do you know what we got? It was more food! As we ate our cookie we watched a Dr. Seuss movie because it was his birthday.
As we got ready to leave we said bye for the day to Miss Everts, the best teacher.
Everyone looked like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer with their red runny noses and cold, red ears. I noticed that everyone was wearing his or her character counts shirts, we looked like a giant rainbow. In the classroom there was a spelling worksheet on our desks. The board said to do both sides.
Next, we went to the computer lab to do Larson's Math. When we got back to the classroom our minds were on fire we were ready for everything. Sure enough we did a page in our math journals and a study link on subtracting positive and negative numbers.
The clock read 10:25, which meant time for gym. In gym we played hockey, my team lost by one point! When we lined up I heard a lot of people saying good game.
When our sweating bodies got to the classroom, everyone took out their yummy, delicious snacks. Paige got to pick out two people to sit on the couch. She picked Katie F. and I. "Put away your books.” said Miss Everts. She told us to put away our books and get out the ones she gave us yesterday. Now we knew it was time to do some research on our different African countries. Miss Everts told us that we needed one encyclopedia, one or two good web pages, and one book about our country, which we already had because Miss Everts gave them to us yesterday. We all lined up to go to the computer lab so we could get our three sources. We got back to the classroom and by the sound of our stomachs we knew it was time for lunch. "Everyone clear off your desks." "A's line up, B's line up, and finally C's line up. Colds lunch and milk line up." stated Miss Everts. As we walked down to the lunchroom, I happened to look at the reading calendar scores and saw that my class was in second place. Cool! Recess was fun most of us played knock out. There goes the whistle, everyone raced to the door.
"Those who haven’t checked out your books do so now" That was Miss Everts. As we went to check out our books Miss Everts started teacher read. We read two chapters during teacher read today. The last chapter was breath taking. Miss Everts now told us to skim through our books and jot down some information.
Next, was reading and we talked about the book that we read yesterday, it was about Louis Armstrong. We got to be with a partner. We had to reread the book and answer the questions in the back.
Are you color blind? That's what we talked about in science today. We also did this awesome experiment where we used lots of different colors.
"Study spelling,” says Miss Everts. You guessed it, time for assignment notebooks. As we packed our bags I could feel the excitement for tomorrow because it was Wednesday and if you didn't get a late assignment then you get to go to the potluck. Hugs or high fives to get out the door then you're free until tomorrow
We all walked in cold and excited because it was another Monday. We went to our desks and did the next page in our fantastic editing books. It was on the book called "The William Joyce Scrapbook" that we had read recently.
Next we grabbed a dry erase board and a wipe because we were using the board to help us with our math. Ms. Everts would give us a problem to solve on adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers. Then, as usual, we did a math page and a study link. Some of our excitement started to die down.
Then we went into s-p-e-l-l-i-n-g, spelling. We took a pretest on words with the prefix "inter" and "re". Next, we copied our list into the brand new, shiny, spectacular spelling books. At the same time we golfed for candy, yum what fun it was.
Now everything went quiet, what was going on SQUIRT, of coarse. We read our books, having a good time. But, that can't last forever so it was time to move on.
Next we had reading. First, Ms. Everts read us an awesome poem about "Louis has a Trumpet" which was a happy poem. Then we read the vocabulary power page to understand the story we were about to read. But surprise, we have to do definitions for each vocabulary word. Then we read the great story "Satchmo's Blues" about how he earned his trumpet to give some shoulder shine.
Then it was time to start our safari through Africa as we learn more from a book. This is a new Unit Studies subject so we are all learning new things. We each got assigned to do a studying project on a different country in Africa. What fun!
Finally, our excitement explodes and we get to have the good tasting lunch and a freezing recess.
Cold people are all sitting down at their desk now waiting for instructions. So now it was time to share a classmate's blog. It was very interesting, but it was time for Guidance. Here we got into our groups and had to make cool skits about bad situations.
We were in need of excitement and we got it in science. Here we learned about a sketchy that was on the ear. Cool! Then we watched "The Magic School bus" when they learn about sound to refresh our memories on sound.
Now we had to do our assignment notebooks and then we went into a record high 45 min. Study hall. Then our excitement finally was released into the cold air as we left another Monday.
