To celebrate Read Across America, we are reading many Dr. Seuss books. We each took a turn writing about one colored day. The following are some examples.
Today we wrote a story together as a class. We used something (a process) called "pass the pen". Miss Jensen wrote the regular words. All of the words that are underlined are things the students added.
One cold dark October night, I went to the pumkin patch. At the punpkin patch, I went to the haunted house. In the haunted house, I saw a skeleton dancing and playing the guitar. I was surprised! Next, I was so frightened that I ran. I ran for my life! I ran all the way home! At home, I hid under my bed. I hoped that I would never go there again! I will never forget that horrible night at the haunted house! ![]() |
