This week's focus for spelling is the "sh" digraph. The "A" list includes: ship, shop, shot, wish, dish, dash, for, more, be, try. The "B" list includes: shark, share, short, shoes, wash, brush, squish, crash, made, may. The "C" list include the priority words: end, for, get, good, got, had, have, he, here, him.

When your child learns the spelling words for the week, brainstorm a list of words to learn that might be used in journal or everyday writing. Some examples might include: weekend, the days of the week, places you might attend or visit, etc. Happy spelling!
