Animal Reports

To write about our animals we read a book or found information on the internet. We completed an organizer that helped us focus on specific details. Maybe you will learn a new fact or two about an animal after you read our reports!

Sharks
by
Madeline

A shark is powerful. It has sharp teeth.
It can be small and big. Whale sharks
eat plankton. Sharks live in the ocean.
The whale shark wiggles its tail and his
body to move. The shark is silent. The
biggest whale shark is half the size of
a football field.

The alligator looks green and a
little white. It eats frogs, shellfish,
birds, turtles, and mammals.
Alligators live in the jungle or
the forest. It uses its front legs
and back legs to move.
Alligators lived when dinosaurs
lived.

They live in Africa. Gorillas are
almost as big a a man. Their fur

on the ground. Male gorillas
roar and growl. Babies stay on
their mothers when they travel.

skin. Crocodiles eat people.
They are huge! A crocodile

land. It can swim and it can
walk. They bite and bite.

Dogs are different sizes. They
all have fur. Some wear collars
if they are pets. Pet dogs eat dog
food and bones but farm dogs
eat rabbits. They walk and run.
“Woof!” is what they say. Dogs can
help the blind people and dogs
can help the police.

legs. They eat mice. They live
in North America. Red foxes
can run and walk. Grown up
foxes yelp and bark. Some
red foxes are all black. That is
