Somewhere at the end of the rainbow...
there's a pot of gold!!
And here's what we'd do if we found it!
If I found a pot of gold, I would buy a new house for my family. I’d get lots of food and toys. I would have the biggest bedroom in the house. My sister would sleep with me. My mom and dad have a medium sized bedroom. My brother will have the smallest room of course. The X-box will be in my room. No one will be able to come in my bedroom.

If I found a pot of gold, I would give it to Hurricane Katrina people and give some of it ot my family. I would get a job, too. I will buy a car, buy a ship, and give some to the poor. Oh, I’d buy a lot of books, too. Josh |

| If I found a pot of gold, I would be excited to spend it and give some to the poor. I really want to spend it on a dog because I love dogs. When the rain stops I will tell my mom I’m going to follow a rainbow. My mom says, “okay, but I will have to go with you.” “Okay, okay,” I said. So mom and I went outside to follow the rainbow. Then mom said, “If you find a pot of gold, can I have some money?” “Yes! You can mom!” “Thank you, thank you! You are so nice.” “You’re welcome, now let’s find that gold!” “Mom, I think we are at the end of the rainbow.” “Yeah, me too.” “Oh my gosh, I see gold!” So mom and I went running to the gold. When we got there mom and I said, “We’re rich! We’re rich!” “Mom, this is the happiest time of my life!” “Me too!” “I wish dad and my sisters were here. I am going to spend this on a dog and a bike, a new house and a new classroom.” “WOW! That’s a lot of stuff!” “So what do you want Mom?” “I want a new car and that’s it.” And they lived happily ever after with their gold. Madeline |

If I found a pot of gold, I would ask the leprechaun if I could have all the gold. He’d say yes. Then I would go to the store and buy my mom a diamond necklace and my dad some Husker tickets. I buy my brother one ticket, too, and then get myself a hot tub in my room.
