It's that time of year when we are practicing for our writing assessement.

These are stories we wrote about a time we felt very afraid. Please remember we are learning more and more about creative writing each day. In these stories you should be able to tell where we've used VOICE in our writing. We've included photographs to show what our faces look like when we get scared!

It was my first time going on the Rocket Ship. I was excited at first.The rocket ship was up. Then whoosh we went down. Then it was slowing down. I came down. It was scary.

Once when me and my sister were at our friend’s house we were sleeping over a lot of days. I got really scared because my mom and dad were going out. I couldn’t sleep until nine o’clock. And then in the morning I didn’t want to go home.

At Disney World I went on a roller coaster. I was excited until I went on it. I went with my mom. At the end of the ride I cried. I hope I don’t have to go on a roller coaster again.

The roller coaster Mamba is scary. Then I went to a scarier ride. The Octopus was scary. Then I went on a ride called The Spin. I got to the top of the Spin roller coaster! Then I went in a school bus roller coaster. I love roller coasters.

I was scared one time when I was four. I went on a ride. I had to go on it because all my family was going. I didn’t want to go on it again.

I went on a roller coaster. It was scary because it did flips. I thought we wouldn’t do it again. My brother and sister were scared. Nobody wants to do it again. It was the scariest thing ever!

I was scared once when I had a dream. I was sleeping. My dream was about things that are scary.
