Reported & Photographed by Matt
Today Matt is the Roving Reporter. We started the day with a bang! Everyone was on the walls ready for a fun day.
First we had math and we checked our Math Boxes. Next we played First to 21, and it was our last time. After we played for about 15 minutes we went to find out how many games were played and how many first and second place winners we had. It was a blast! Everyone got along and had a lot of fun! After finding a large sample size, everyone concluded that First to 21 is not a fair game. The player going first only won 31% of the time while the player going second won 69% of the games.
We had our snack and it looked so good, I almost wanted more! My snack looked and smelled so good. Then we did a page of graphs in our math journal. After that we had Math Boxes assigned to us.
Then we went to PE. We played basketball and the blue team won 10 to 4. At the end of PE we got our health scores.
Next we had WART, writing and reading time. We were reading “Homesick“ and doing a fun page on it. I think it is a good story and you should consider reading the book by Jean Fritz. It took us about 20 minutes to read. Then we had to finish the yellow worksheet. Next we did action verbs and state of being. Then we had another boring paper again.
Then we had yummy chicken patties on a bun for lunch.
Next we had our big spelling test after lunch. We are working on Lesson 15: Word that end in -al.
Then we had a social studies test it looked pretty hard. A lot of people got good grades. After the test we started the cool Chapter 8.
Then we had a tribal council and we voted for people in the tribe that were good today and they got three points.
Last, but not least, Mr.Vincent read the fifth Harry Potter book to us. It has been a great book every since he had read the first page.
