The class strolled on into the classroom ready for a day of learning. The morning message told us to practice multiplication on our Palms. We also had the option of finishing our political cartoons.
If you practiced your math facts, you're in luck, because when we started math. We took a timed multiplication test. If you beat you're last score, you got to take ticket from Mr. Vincent. After we took our test, we checked our Math Boxes 6.6. Next, we were assigned math journal pages 201 and 202 and a Study Link about adding and subtracting fractions. Matt said, "This is pretty easy."
Then it was time to go to Music, and guess what? It was Beethoven's birthday, so we had a birthday party for him. We got to play musical Jeopardy and eat some delicious treats. What a fun music class we had today!
When we came back from music, we started WART (writing and reading time). Then we did a selection test over the story “Homesick.” “Homesick” is about a girl who lives in China and travels by boat to America with her parents. So far, they have experienced a long and grueling road trip across the United States to get to their grandparent's house.
After an exciting WART, we went to the computer lab. Mr. Vincent said to work on Larson's Intermediate Math. We could also go to P5 and look at some Political Cartoons. If we worked on Larson's Math, we had to work on adding or subtracting fractions. I worked on both.
Next, it was time for lunch. Most people enjoyed the yummy taste of pasta and bread sticks. Then we went outside for recess.
After a chilling recess, we had spelling. We worked from our spelling books and did page 69. There were 20 questions about nouns and adjectives and the proper use of our spelling words.
In social studies, we are studying the Revolutionary War. Today we took more notes about the Revolutionary War and watched a movie about the intolerable acts. Intolerable acts are unfair things the British were doing to the colonists. Then we did two worksheets about the Revolutionary War.
Due to time constraints, we were unable to have tribal council today, nor did we have time for teacher read. The class emptied their mailboxes and got ready to be dismissed for the day. I hurried off to safety patrol to assist kids in safely crossing the street. Furthermore, I had a good day at school and this concludes my roving report for the day.
