Today we all sprinted into the building getting out of the cold as quickly as we could.
On the board we found that we had to write about sometime that we were unsure about something. I wrote about a time when I couldn't decide which game to buy.
Next we got ready for math. Today we went over Study Link 6.10. We also studied for our math test on Friday. After that, we had to do a simplify worksheet and if we got an A on it then we did an adding and subtracting fractions worksheet.
When we got an A on that, we got our Unit 6 Review worksheet. So some of us had to finish the adding and subtracting worksheet after P.E.
Furthermore, we had P.E. We played a game with bean bags. We all picked a bean bag and that was what team we were on. Ms. Lindeman would call out a color and that color was "It." The game was like tag, but there were more people who played "It." We also played basketball.
In addition, we had WART, (Writing And Reading Time). Then it was time for silent reading. After that, we worked on our book reviews and read it in class to grade it on our rubric. It ended up being 57.5 points and 96%. Then we did Day One of Dialogue and Quotations.
After that, we did spelling. Today we had our spelling test. It was on the suffix "ous." Since we didn't have school yesterday, we had a "Look Again" proofreading worksheet.
A quiet hush came once it was time for Social Studies. For Social Studies, we read in the book and wrote in our definitions. A week from Friday we have our Social Studies test.
To everybody's delight, we got PGT, (Palm Game Tuesday). We got to have PGT because we were really good today so we got to play Dotty. It's just the same as Dots. It's played by making a board for it and you have to try and make a box out of tracing the lines. It's impossible!
Finally, because it was so cold we wanted to stay in school to stay warm, (not really)!
