The fifth graders filed into the room and read the good morning message on the board. The good morning message was to have the news ''flung'' to you on your Palm. All of the students skipped to get the news ''flung'' to them from Mr. Vincent. Then we started the day off with a game of Mad Libs. Mad Libs is a game that helps us with nouns, adverbs, adjectives, and verbs. Math! All of the 5th graders got a brad new slick Math Journal. In our new math journal we did page 213 and Math Box 7.1. Finally it was time for Music! In music we counted rhythms. We came back to the classroom and got our Literacy Place books. We read story about the fastest woman in the world. I thought that was really cool to learn about Wilma Rudolph. Computer lab! Everyone is normally exited to go to the computer lab but not this time because we had to do an SRI! An SRI is a test that all students take so their teachers know what their reading level are. Lunch! Everyone was really hungry for food! For lunch we had grilled chicken burger. Spelling! For spelling we had our spelling test. Social Studies! Everyone was so excited because we played Who Wants to be a Winner. Who wants to be a Winner helps us study for our test tomorrow. The 5th graders rushed out the door saying good-bye to Mr. Vincent. Bye and have a great day. Back
