The kids shuffled into the room with their slippers on. It was pajama day at Willowdale.
First, we did math. We checked the Math Boxes. We reviewed our multiplication skills. Then, we practiced using parenthesis in math problems. It was really cool!
Next, we went to music. We practiced a Valentine's Day song. The song was funny. The boys really liked the second part. The boys get to make an "oooo" sound.
After music, we had WART. Mr. Vincent read, Squids will be Squids by Jon Scieszka. Everyone enjoyed the story! Even Mr. Vincent thought it was a great story with humorous morals.
Today at lunch, we had a choice between A and B lunch. A was a cheeseburger and B was a chicken patty. It is kind of hard to decide between A and B. Then, we had indoor recess because of the snow outside. The snow was falling hard and fast.
Our next activity was spelling. Mrs. Milius was a helper in the class during spelling.
In science, we had to put notes in our science journal. The notes were about sounds and frequency.
What fun we had next! We all played a game on the floor called Dots and Boxes. The first winner earned four team boxes. Second place team earned two boxes and third place earned one box. The boxes are for our class Survivor game.
Mr. Vincent then read the fifth book of the Harry Potter series, after he got tried he let the computer talk finish the rest. Then we finally went home. I hope we did not have school.
