All the children rushed into the building to get warm from outside's bitter cold. Once indoors, they all hung-up their coats and packs to start another day of school.
After we had checked-in, we noticed that some kids were gone. Anyway, some of us were kind of sleepy, and I said to myself, "I'm going to take a nap right when I get home."
The board told us to have our homework ready. Then it told us to do MathCard. Some kids were still talking, and Mr. Vincent said stop.
After we turned in our homework we did math. Next we wrote on our maker boards what negative numbers are used for. Then we checked our Math Boxes 7.5. After that we did a few math pages about comparing negative numbers. Then Mr. Vincent gave us some time to work on it. After that we had to bring it up to Mr. Vincent to get our next sheet.
After that it was time for music. In music we did our little music packets. I don't think we did that much.
Following that we did WART. WART stands for writing and reading time. First Mr. Vincent read this book that talked about adverbs. He gave us the assignment of writing 26 adverbs on a piece of paper and due the next day. Then Mr. Vincent gave us a Time for Kids (TFK). We were going to have a sheet for it, but it didn't get printed off!
Then we had lunch. We had sloppy joes and pizza sticks and sauce. I heard a kid say, "Who knows what's in the sloppy joe!" I didn't want to look in the trash because of that.
After lunch was spelling. We had to "draw" our spelling words. Plus our spelling unit is Spanish words. Personally, I didn't know how to draw a fiesta!
Following spelling was science. We had to write the definition of the words: volume, frequency, pitch, ultrasonic, sonar, and echo. That's a lot! But I bet we all get it done.
Then it was time for teacher read. Mr. Vincent was reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix again. Harry's scar was starting to hurt like he was near Voltmort.
Then it was time to go home. Kids sprinted out of the room. That's what happened today.
