We started off the day with practicing cartooning. Everyone was having fun drawing funny cartoons. Then we said the pledges. We turned in Study Link 7.6 and a spelling assignment.

Then math started. In math we plotted negative numbers and adding positive and negative numbers. We used our Palms to practice the adding in an application called BeSmart.

P.E. was right around the corner. In P.E. we had to partner up and do different things like: run back and forth, hop on one foot back and forth, switching to the other foot, then running back and forth again. Then we played a game where we had to steal all the balls from the other team. The team I was on lost.

Next it was time for WART. In WART we are reading a story called "Miss Ida's Porch." The story is about a girl that likes to go to Miss Ida's porch to listen to stories and memories. After we read the sotry we had to answer questions over the story. Then it was time to go to the computer lab. It was extremely fun typing in different words for online Mad Libs. Right after laughing at the silly stories, it was time for lunch.

For lunch we had A or B choices. The A choice was hot dogs. The B choice was hamburgers.

After lunch we had spelling. In spelling we did a proofreading worksheet called "Take a Closer Look."

Right after spelling was science. We were reflecting our flashlights off of mirrors. Students realized that unlike sound, light travels in straight lines. Then we did a green review worksheet as a class about properties of sound.

Then the fun began! It was time to decorate our Valentine's Day bags. There was paper, glue, and drawing supplies.

After we were finished, it was time to go home. Everyone was tired and ready to go home. After the announcements and bell ring, the classroom was empty.
