Hey, it's me again. Here to bring you inside another day at our school. Hey, before we start, can I ask you that at the end you will tell me what you thought? Well, here it goes.
As in our class, as well as others, the echoing sound of voices saying "I can't wait until this afternoon," or "The party is going to be so awesome." What party am I talking about, do you ask? It's was our Valentines Day party. I know that it is the biggest thing on everyones mind today. Our first assignment was to have ready to turn in “Listen Up!” and “Take a Closer Look.” I guess that isn't really an assignment, but then again you have to have it done.

For our first subject today, the fun, exciting, and exhausting…math. While some of us went to MathOlympiad others stayed back in the classroom and practiced BeSmart. To play a different math game called Quads you had to get 30 questions right in BeSmart. In Quads you have to try to make a square without getting blocked by the other player or their quazars.

In Gymsic today we line danced. My favorite song that we danced to was the Electric Slide.
Today we had our spelling test. The rule for this week was words from Mexico, such as pinto, burro, burrito, llama, and siesta.

Today was Taylor's (the other Taylor in our class) birthday. To celebrate he brought glazed doughnuts. I'll tell you, if I know a good doughnut it's glazed, because my favorite kind of doughnut is a glazed doughnut.

Our first assignment for WART today was to read for 15 minutes for Independent reading time. Next, while some people left for choir, others started to work on their flipbooks. In our flipbooks we list different nouns, verbs, and adverbs to make sentences. For example here is one of my sentences that I have collected: “Juggling monkeys dance magically.”

Before we started something else Mr. Vincent collected all of the handhelds (except for mine). If it's not already going to be a fantastic day, guess what we did next. We watched a Liberty Kids video.

Next it is PAR-TAY! Well no, it's only lunch, but the pizza is part of the party. So I guess it's PPAARRTTAAYY.
Well then again, I guess it's not partaaaaay it's partyyyy. Anyways as everyone cleared off their desks Mrs. Kuehl and Mrs. Barna set up the table where the food was going to be placed. Mr. Vincent then chose people to line up to get their Pizza, chips, fruits, and vegetables, etc. Katie said "All of the food was really good," Then we had dessert. It was ice cream and M&M cookies. For toppings for the ice cream there was sprinkles, marshmallows, M&Ms, and chocolate and vanilla whip cream. Ummmmmm, I could eat that any day. Just as we were finishing up our ice cream, Mrs. Kuehl and Mrs. Barna started to pass out pieces of paper. Then they told us that we couldn't write anything down on them until they had left the room. Then all of a sudden they came in with this really long pole. It had 15 items on it. As they traveled around the room you had to try to memorize all of the different objects hanging from the pole. For example, there was a cupid, a white teddy bear, a valentine, a heart shaped cookie cutter, and a plastic heart. There were four winners for this game. Our next game for our fabulous party was pin the lips on Mr. Vincent. It was exactly like pin the tail on the donkey, except you were not trying to pin on a tail your were trying to pin on lips. One winner was selected from each group of participating players.

Well the end of the day is done, so it's time to pack-up and head home. You know, there is a good and a bad part of a day. Today the bad part was leaving school, but the good part was that once we left school we got a five day weekend. Now guess what we have? Another party.

Well, what did you think? Was it good, bad, or amazing? Well it's time for me to go now. I've got to get a good night sleep to get ready for another exciting day of school tomorrow. See you next time with your favorite roving reporter, Taylor.
