Everyone scattered in the room and started on Silly Stories on our handheld computers. We tried a new version of Silly Stories since we’re testing out the software. Then, we turned in our proofreading and Study Link 7.10. We graded Stud Link 7.10 together. Today was a gym day. In gym, we did stations. It was fun. Every one had fun in gym except for some of the boys. They got sent out in the hall because a student got hit in the face with a balloon. A kindergartener was hitting a balloon using a racket when it hit him in the face. Some people laughed and some didn't. Back in the classroom, it was time for
reading. We met in our book groups. Each book group has a different
book to read. It was nice and
quiet during
reading time. Hurray! It was finally time for lunch and recess. It is nice to have choices for lunch. It was windy and cool outside during recess. After lunch, we started spelling. Today, we had our test. Do you like science experiments? We got to do a science experiment today and then the class watched Brain Pop on the ear. After the video, we read out of our books. Then, we made Sketchy animations about the ear using our Palms. Finally, the day was over and we packed up our things and got ready to go. Everyone scattered again just like they had when the day began. |
