The day started out with a substitute teacher, and her name was Mrs. Jones. The first thing we did was Math, and in Math today we played a game were we had to go up to the board and do subtracting fractions sort of like board races. Then the next game we played was Around The World Division it was really fun.

So next we had Music, and guess what we had another sub, AHHHH. But the Music teacher's name was Mrs. Nutter. We had to bring a pencil because we had to fill out our Rockin’ Rythmn books.

When we got done with Music we went back to our classroom and did WART (writing and reading time), Mrs. Jones had planned on reading all of us a book called, Bartholomew and the Oobleck by Dr. Suess because it was his birthday today and also Nebraska's birthday too. After she read the book we had our usual book groups. Mrs. Jones read with Pinky Pye, and Mrs. Milius read with Castle in the Attic all the rest had to read on their own.

Then it was time for lunch. For lunch we either had cheese pizza or pizza sticks with sauce. I chose cheese pizza. Well we did not have outside recess because it was raining but I would rather go out in the rain. "Hey that's just my opinion,” I say.

After lunch and recess we started Spelling and for Spelling all we had was a proofreading sheet. It was pretty easy.

Yeah, almost the end of the day, but first we had our school counselor Mrs. Magstadt. She came and she talked about making mistakes is ok sometimes. Then the people that were not here last week had to take a "test" sort of speak. Then we had to have somebody check it.

Now the LAST thing in school we have to do is Science. Now we just got done dissecting cow eyeballs so now we are learning what is a danger to your eye now some examples are dust, radiation, and needle. We also had a green review sheet that we all got done before it was time to go I tell ya it was pretty simple.

LAST but not least was Read Aloud. Mrs. Jones read another one of her favorite books by Dr. Suess, Oh the Places You'll Go. It lasted until it was time for dismissal.

And that's all for today. See you next time!
