Good Morning! The students rushed in the room ready to learn. The good morning messages on the board said, “In your writing journal, write about the school lunch." So the students happily wrote in their writing journals. Then we all turned in our Study Link 8.8 to Mr. Vincent.
Math! In math we did multiplying fractions on our marker boards. After the 5th graders got a one hundred percent on their marker boards they got to do board races. Board races are when two people race on doing a problem.
WART! In WART we read an independent reading book. The group Pinky Pye had to finish their book today because their book was really long. Also all of the students that turned in their reading charts got an apple and an orange. After we read our books we got to sit in Mr. Vincent’s blue chair and told the class in 30 seconds about what we had read.
Art! In art we made a two-point perspective. My friend Katie said, “It looks really cool because it 3-D." All of the fifth graders eagerly made a two- point perspective.
Lunch! For lunch the A: choice was Burrito and the B: choice was Grilled Chicken. While going through line, many fifth graders apologized for being rude yesterday when the kitchen ran out of crispitos. Then we went out to recess and we thought it was cold because it was really windy.
Dismissal! The fifth graders quickly escaped out the door while telling Mr. Vincent, ”Bye." I hope you enjoyed reading my classroom news.
