Today is Tuesday the second day back from spring break. We had nothing to turn in to today. The board said to "read Time For Kids quietly." In TFK we saw that this one school had their classes boys separate and girls separate. I don't think they should do that. I think people would be out of their seats more. Also they'd be talking more.

Next was math. Just to review we had mixed numbers to add, subtract and multiply. Also we had to fill in some boxes. Then we had to correct a page in the math journal. We also corrected math boxes 8.10. After that we had to answer a class survey. To wrap math up, we did our usual Math Boxes.

Then came W.A.R.T. (Writing And Reading Time). We are working on our rough draft of final copy for our persuasive paragraph. We have to write about our book groups that we read. We had to write about why you should or should not read Pinky Pye, Castle in the Attic, The Westing Game, and Dogs Don't Tell Jokes. I'm sure every book was good. In fact, I recommend all these great books.

Finally we went to the computer lab. We had to research famous artists and their artwork. We tell when and where they were born and so many other things about their life. Then we'll turn them into a PowerPoint slide show complete with images. Mr. Vincent says, "You should be done with the research by tomorrow."

We were all happy that next was lunch time. Our choices were macaroni or hotdogs. Then we all went out for recess.

Eventually was spelling. We had a test over our priority words that we studied. There were 30 words in the whole test.

Last but not least was social studies. We are getting to the end of Merrimac our country. We keep on doing more and more votes for Merrimac about our country and what we want to do. Today we had to decide whether to have a unicameral or bicameral legislature.

To finish the day Mr. Vincent did a Mad Lib with us and read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and dismissed us by rows.
