At the sound of the bell, the fifth graders walked into the classroom for the start of another busy day.

As usual, we started the day with math. In math our class went over the answers to a unit review quiz. When we had finished that, Mr. Vincent beamed us a program called Numerus. Pretty much all it was a calculator for Roman numerals. We were given a work sheet and told to experiment and write down our observations.

When math was through, our class filed down to the music room in which we listened to a really cool song. While we were listening, we were given a work sheet that told us to write down the instruments we heard and write what kind of "feel" the music had to it.

WART came next. WART was a little bit different today because our class split up into two groups. The people that thought they needed help with the math lesson went into one group, and the others read a section of a story called The Phantom Toll Booth.

Now it is time for lunch and recess. The time of the day for kids to eat, then run around outside to blow off some steam. Too bad we have to go back inside for social studies after only fifteen minutes...

Followed by recess was social studies. In this period, we finished our Decisions, Decisions program. We scored a 55. I think we could have done a whole lot better.

At the end of the day Mr. Vincent read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to us, the bell rang, and it was then time to head home after another long day of school.
