As the bell rang all the students rushed into the room. Today was Wednesday and we had a lot of important things to do. This morning for opening we were told to come in and study for our big social studies test. This was going to be our biggest test yet so everyone was studying.
Instead of having Math this morning we had our Social Studies test first. Before we took the test, Mr. Vincent helped us study by asking us some questions. A lot of people got them right so everyone felt prepared. While we were taking the test our substitute, Mrs. Doran, came. She came because Mr. Vincent had to go to a very important place. He was awarded with a Distinguished Alumni award. He had to give a speech so he asked us what we thought a Distinguished Alumni award was. We had a lot of funny answers!
We had a pretty short math lesson today and we were only assigned Math Boxes 9.5. Mrs. Doran gave us time to do our math box before Jump Rope for heart.Time for Jump Rope for Heart. What you do is go outside and jump rope for all those people who are in the hospital. We were out there for 2 hours with our buddies. We really got our hearts moving. We all really had fun being outside with our buddies! After you were finished with the test you were supposed to read! A lot of people got some good reading time in. When everyone was done with the test we had to take our spelling- pre test. That went really well.
Today was the potluck lunch for all of those people who did not get late assignment that month. There was lots of good food there!
When we got back from recess Mr. Vincent was not back yet so we went into Mrs. Campney’s room. In there we had a News Bowl. That is were we are asked questions about different categories.
When Mr. Vincent finally got back it was time to go so he showed us is award and the bell rang. I can't wait until tomorrow!
