Once again it's me, Aaron, reporting for today. The morning message said to either practice math facts on Math Wiz or on Timer Math Facts.

For Math the Math Olympia kids went to Mrs. Wishow's room, and the rest of us stayed in Mr. Vincent's room. Then we learned more about finding the area of triangles, quadrangles, and parallelograms. Next we practiced finding the area of shapes by writing down on our marker boards the area of the shape Mr. Vincent had drawn. After all of that Mr. Vincent gave us a Study Link.

Next we had Gymsic (gym and music). First we ran around the gym until the music said. "Drop down give me ten." Then we would lie down on the ground and do ten push-ups, sit-ups, etc. After that we square danced for a little while. For the last part of Gymsic we did the Electric Slide.

Then for Spelling we just took our spelling pre-test. This week we are working with words that have the Latin roots dict and spec.

For the beginning of WART (writing and reading time) we started day three for Power Point presentations. We learned that Leonardo Da Vinci was famous for painting "Mona Lisa,” and Pablo Picasso is famous for cubism. Then Mrs. Anderson came in and said that we were going to vote on the ten Golden Sowers. In our class The Skeleton Man won.

For the last part of WART we beamed around a game called Discussion. It turned out that half of the class couldn't get the application because their handhelds were not working correctly. So then we got another game called Prisoner. In it you either choose defect or cooperate. Then you hide it and meet someone, if you both chose defect then you get one point, if you both choose to cooperate you get three points, and if you choose defect and your person that you're meeting chooses cooperate you get five points.

For art we did something that we already have done before and that is two point perspectives.

On the menu today it was either A: ham sandwich, or B: chicken nuggets. I was the only person in my class that was invited to the Potluck for reading all ten of the Golden Sowers.

We got an extra recess even though we had more sad faces than happy faces. So that took up most of the afternoon because it's a Wednesday. I hope you enjoyed reading this. See ya!
