All of a sudden talking and laughter came from everywhere into the school. The kids went to the coat rack and hung up their coats and backpacks, then swarmed into their classrooms to checked in. They sat down and read the chalkboard. It said get out your homework and so we did until it was time for math.

In math, we checked our math sheets work. Most of us want to get very good grades. After that Mr. Vincent handed out a review sheet. It took a very long time to do and only a few finished. After the long period of math it was time for music.

Music class was very fun. We worked on our songs that we were writing and tried to make them better. Then we found out that is was Mrs. Noble's 50th birthday. We said, "Happy Birthday Mrs. Noble!” Soon after we came back to class and it was time for WART.

In WART, (which stands for writing and reading time) we read a very good book called Nothing Ever Happens on 90th Street. It is about a girl who was assigned to write. She thinks that she has nothing to write about but discovers that she really does. I would tell you the ending but I don't want to spoil the surprise.

Finally it was time for lunch. We had mini corndogs or macaroni along with fruit. I sat by all my friends and talked with them while I ate. Many of us looked at the progress on the new playground at recess. We all hope that we will get to play on it before we leave Willowdale. Sadly, we had to go back to class.

Spelling was quite enjoyable because we did a worksheet. The worksheet was over our spelling words. I thought it was very fun even though our spelling words were hard. Tomorrow is our test.

Our counselor had us list our least favorite chore. We had to say three good things and three bad things about it. I really don't like my chore because it is cleaning the litter box. I had a hard time thinking of three good things about it.

Our last subject of the day was social studies. We showed our Sketchy animations and we tried to find the definitions from the study guide. It was fun. Tomorrow is the test over chapter ten.

The bell rang and it was time to go home so the kids left their classrooms and the sound of children faded away.
