This morning we all rushed in for a Wednesday full of learning and fun.

After we were all settled in, we had math. In math we got our Unit 9 Math Reviews back. Everyone was eager to see what their grades was. Then Mr. Vincent went over it with us.

Following math, we went to Gymsic and we did a couple of activities such as someone stood ten feet away from someone else and one person did movements and the other person had to do the same thing, like a mirror.
After an active Gymsic, we had our spelling pretest over homophones.

When we finished spelling, we worked on our Interactive Stories. After working on that for a while, we did a spelling work sheet called "Combining Sentences with Key Words." Here's an example: We painted our house. We painted it purple. It's supposed to be like this: We painted our house purple. That sounds a lot better, doesn't it?

For art we looked at a Power Point presentation about Paul Klee and about his art. Then Mr. Vincent gave us four names of Klee's artwork and we had to draw what we thought they might look like. Then after awhile, he showed us what Paul Klee's artwork really looked like and nobody was close at all. ''I wasn't even close,'' said Katie.

For lunch we had a choice of pepperoni pizza or breaded chicken sandwich. After a sunny recess, we came back in.
When we sat down in the classroom, Mr. Vincent read The Biggest Book of Riddles to us while we filled out our planners. Finally, we went home after another great day in Mr. Vincent's class.
